When it comes to working out, many people find it easy to say it’s too hard or they’re too busy. We believe you have everything you need for a good workout right at your fingertips. Anyone can workout anywhere and anytime, all you need is the right mentality and motivation.

Sometimes life gets in the way. Sometimes you just don’t have time to make it to the gym. All women can relate to that!

But what if you could ‘Create your own gym’ without having to go to the gym at all? Gyms are great when you’re ok with going to them. But they are not required for an effective workout. Use your body as leverage! Use resistance to create a great workout anywhere.

Here are three tips to get the most out of your routine!

  1. Perform quick bodyweight cardio moves between strength exercises to keep the heart pumping and encourage muscle/strength development.
  2. Add repetitions or change the tempo to challenge you when the exercises seem simple
  3. Change between exercises quickly so there is less time to rest and recover.

Whether you’re a beginner or an athlete, you can benefit from this type of training.

I like to perform up to 10 exercises as a circuit, doing as many reps as possible in 30 seconds, with little rest between exercises. After the last exercise, I recommend resting for two minutes and then repeating the entire circuit two more times.

It doesn’t matter what sort of workout you do, all that matters is that you do something. Just because you don’t have access to a gym does not mean you can’t have an efficient workout that targets all areas of your body.  Run up and down your stairs 10 times a day, go out for a jog or even a quick walk. Anything that gets your heart pumping. So, don’t let small things discourage you from reaching your fitness goals.

Just remember- You are not alone! You are amongst so many others who want to exercise but find it difficult for many different reasons. It is important to keep in mind that you exercise, not to torture yourself, but to make yourself feel good.

So, do things that you enjoy.
When you start thinking of skipping a workout, just remember all you need is your body!!!
